Meetings & Conferences
CC of C convenes a number of meetings and conferences on an annual basis in order to create a forum for members to exchange information and experiences, develop operating strategies, address issues of common concern and deliver relevant training programs in a more cost-effective manner. These include:
• Annual Conference
• Sales Training and Director of Sales / Marketing Meeting
• CEO Retreat
• Facility Manager’s Meeting
• Human Resources Managers Meeting
The current status of our 2011 meetings and conferences is as follows:
1. Convention Centres of Canada 2011 Annual Conference
Palais des Congrès de Montréal, PQ
June 15-17, 2011
This is our major annual event, and this year will be an important one with a very full agenda addressing the key Canadian centre management and development issues of today. Set in one of Canada's most uniquely attractive cities, it will also provide a great backdrop for the activities that support our networking and interactions as a group.
Arrangements have been made with the Intercontinental hotel, which is directly attached to the Palais, with a very attractive rate. You can see all the booking details on the Annual Conference registration form, along with the conference agenda and related activities.
2. CC of C Sales Training and DOS/M Meeting:
Scotiabank Convention Centre, Niagara Falls, Ontario
May 15-17, 2011
This year's combined Sales Training and Director of Sales / Marketing Meeting will be held at the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, and will provide not only a highly educational and management experience but a chance to see one of Canada's two newest convention facilities in action!

3. 2011 Facility Managers Meeting
The Facility Managers Meeting for 2011 will be held at the Victoria Conference Centre in Victoria, BC. Dates and the Meeting Agenda will be circulated shortly.
4. 2011 CEO Retreat
The CEO Retreat for 2011 will be held in conjunction with the Annual Conference in Montreal, on the day preceding the conference program. Timing details are included with the Annual Conference Agenda information above.
