Located in the heart of a charming and pristine capital city, the Fredericton Convention Centre is New Brunswick’s premier meeting destination. Just a stone’s throw from riverfront trails, the Historic Garrison District, The Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the Provincial Legislature, and much more, the hi-tech, (LEED) Silver Certified facility centre has 36,000 square feet of meeting and function space.
The main floor provides 12 meeting rooms accommodating groups of 2-200 participants, as well as a dedicated conference office/registration area with courtesy smart phone. The 2nd floor features a 12,480 square foot unobstructed ballroom, accommodating up to 1200 participants, with flexibility to create up to four smaller spaces. The ballroom is surrounded by a spectacular, spacious pre- function area with floor to ceiling windows, bench seating and stunning local artwork lining the walls.
Delegates and organizers alike will appreciate the connectivity of the FCC and City. Fredericton was the first city in Canada to offer a community-wide free wireless network, and we are still leading the way with connectivity.
Our access points are industry leading-edge to give excellent responsiveness regardless of the number of users attached. With a cellular tower on the roof of the FCC, there will be no network congestion. With hundreds of active jacks throughout the FCC, you experience 20 Ms of symmetrical fibre-optic access to the Internet. Menus provide a range of options to suit your event. As much as possible, Chef sources local, in-season foods, and the FCC has created special entrees that focus on local delicacies. Fresh, local, creative . . . these are all words that describe the Fredericton Convention Centre’s meal options.
The FCC is a completely non-unionized environment, and you will find the staff willing to go the extra mile to ensure your event is a great success. As a modern, convenient building, elevators, wide doorways and large washrooms are just a few of the items that make the FCC accessible to all delegates.
Ready to marry technology with innovation, the Audio Visual (AV) options at FCC are second to none. Freeman Audio Visual Canada is the preferred supplier, however we will welcome your AV supplier if you have previous relationships (fees may apply). AV services include basic video display through to event production and HD Video conferencing.
